Berkeley has been creating homes and places across London and the South-East for almost 50 years. At Kidbrooke Village, Berkeley has worked in partnership with the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the GLA to transform the former Ferrier Estate into a new neighbourhood with homes, green spaces, shops, services, community facilities and improved connections.

ABOUT KIDBROOKE VILLAGE

Kidbrooke Village is one of London’s most significant regeneration projects transforming the former Ferrier Estate into a new, mixed and well-connected neighbourhood in partnership with the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the Mayor of London.

Since construction began in 2009, Kidbrooke Village has grown into a thriving community with new homes, green spaces, schools, community facilities and local services.

The Wider Masterplan

ABOUT PHASE 6

Phase 6 is the final phase of the wider Kidbrooke Village masterplan and is located in the north-western part of the site.

It sits alongside the railway line to the north, the Cator Estate to the west, Wingfield School and earlier phases of Kidbrooke Village to the south, and North Cator Park to the east.

Completing Phase 6 will help bring together the final part of the neighbourhood and create new homes, public spaces and connections for both existing and future residents.

THE EXISTING PLANNING PERMISSION

Planning permission was granted in 2015. Since then, Wingfield School was delivered in 2017 alongside the North Cator Park. However, the residential aspect of Phase 6 is yet to be delivered.

LOOKING AHEAD

Berkeley is preparing updated proposals to respond to current housing needs and changing market conditions, helping to ensure the final phase of Kidbrooke Village can be delivered and completed as a successful, connected and sustainable neighbourhood.

The proposals are still being developed, and feedback from residents, local representatives and stakeholders will help shape the plans before a planning application is submitted.
